This Position reports to:
Superviseur, ingénierie de productionAs a Production Engineering Intern with a focus on Industrial Engineering, you will actively contribute to the continuous improvement of manufacturing cells within the Measurement & Analytics (PAMA) business segment in Québec. Under the supervision of the Production Engineer, you will participate in optimizing tools, processes, and production deliverables with the goal of reducing costs, improving quality, and meeting delivery deadlines.
Your Role: Take on the Challenge
Provide daily support to operations to ensure on-time deliveries that meet quality standards.
Act as a technical resource in your field (industrial engineering).
Propose and implement improvement ideas within your area of expertise.
Collaborate on production process optimization projects with process specialists.
Participate in problem analysis and implementation of corrective actions with continuous improvement teams.
Contribute to the development and updating of maintenance plans for production equipment.
Define new work methods and tools, and train team members on their use.
What You'll Need:
University studies in industrial engineering or a related field.
Strong command of English, both spoken and written. French is required. English is also required to regularly communicate with clients outside Québec.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Autonomy, initiative, and a collaborative mindset.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Assets: knowledge of SAP, Windchill, Atlassian JIRA™, and Guide TI.
