- Project: Development of infectious clone, point-of-care diagnostics and transcriptomic profiling for apple (Malus domestica) exhibiting mosaic disease associated with apple necrotic mosaic virus in Northwestern Himalayan region of India

Eligibility Criteria
- Essential Qualification: Postgraduate degree in Biotechnology/Agriculture/Horticulture with specialization in Plant Pathology/Agricultural Biotechnology; 4/5 years of relevant Bachelors degree.
- Candidates with post graduate degree in basic sciences with 3 years Bachelors and 2 years Masters must have NET and 02 years research experience as of interview date (DSR/2014/09/2018/OM dated 30 Jan 2019 and OM dated 13 Jul 2015, 06.27/2024/HRD, 07 Oct 2015).
- Experience in virology, cloning, transformation, real-time expression, RT-RPA, lateral flow assay, and transcriptomic analysis highly desirable.
- Age: 21-45 years (relaxation as per GOI norms)
Emoluments
- ₹37,000 + 18% HRA per month for first and second year
- ₹42,000 + 18% HRA per month for third year

- Scoring: PG (50 marks), PhD (5), Research papers (10), Research experience (5/year), NET (5), Awards (5), Interview (20)
- Selection will be on academic/qualification marks and interview performance; maximum engagement period is 3 years
- Engagement is purely temporary; no right to claim regularization
- No TA/DA for attending the interview
- Appointment is project-based, co-terminus with project, may be terminated at any time with notice
