About the job
We’re partnering with one of our long-standing clients, a lovely family-run manufacturing business, who are going through a period of growth and as such, they’ve created this brand-new role for a HSE Advisor. Based at their site near Chester, you’ll report to the HSE Manager and work closely with the wider manufacturing and QSHE team.
It’s a hands-on role where you’ll be at the heart of the business, helping to keep everyone safe while supporting the company’s growth.
What you’ll get:

About You
- At least 3 years H&S experience gained within a manufacturing or engineering business
- You’ll be passionate about health, safety and creating a positive workplace culture
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 including auditing
- NEBOSH General Certificate
- You’re confident running audits, inspections and risk assessments
- You’ll be a real relationships builder, able to influence, engage and build trust at all levels
- You’re naturally supportive and people feel comfortable approaching you for advice and guidance
About the Role
- Supporting all health, safety and environmental across the site
- Conducting audits and inspections to maintain ISO compliance
- Supporting managers and staff with risk assessments and safe working practices
- Investigating incidents and ensuring corrective actions are taken
- Delivering training and awareness sessions to support a proactive safety culture
- Monitoring and reporting on HSE data and trends
- Helping the business stay compliant with legal requirements and driving continuous improvement
