Summary
A calm, professional household in Weybridge is looking for an experienced and self-sufficient housekeeper to maintain their large, recently renovated five-bedroom home. The family values reliability, discretion, and initiative. The household is usually quiet but becomes busier when grown-up children and young grandchildren visit. This is a hands-on role for someone confident working independently, managing all aspects of daily housekeeping and home organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete housekeeping and cleaning for a five-bedroom home across four floors
- Laundry, ironing, wardrobe management, and linen care
- Making and changing beds and replenishing household supplies
- Tidying and resetting living areas, including kitchen, gym, and cinema room
- Running light errands such as collecting flowers, groceries, or parcels
- Liaising with gardeners, maintenance teams, and pool staff
- Keeping stock of essential items and ensuring the home is guest-ready
- Preparing rooms before family visits
Requirements
- Proven experience as a private housekeeper in a similar large household
- Excellent attention to detail, initiative, and pride in presentation
- Reliable, punctual, and discreet
- Organised and methodical approach
- Comfortable communicating with tradespeople and contractors
- Driver with own car essential due to location
