Responsibilities and Duties
● Ensures a safe and secure environment through team effort of diligent active patrol, strict access control, monitoring, and equipment control
● Is always visible and observant, greeting staff, guests, and vendors in a courteous and attentive manner
● Responds immediately to distress calls, panic alarms, and emergency calls for disorderly conduct, disruptive persons, and incidents swiftly and appropriately
● Maintains the company’s reputation with professionalism and legal compliance
● Collaborates with other security officers for effective protection and coverage
● Patrols property on foot, securing personnel, assets, buildings, gates, and fence perimeter are secure in all weather conditions
● Investigates and takes the appropriate lawful action as authorised by the corporate policy on accidents, incidents, trespassing, suspicious activities, safety and fire incidents
● Controls and monitors surveillance equipment, and performs building and equipment inspections
● Guards access points, permitting or refusing entry, restraining trespassers, and direct heavy traffic during start and end of business hours
● Completes daily reports, including relevant information, observations, surveillance footage, and signatures
● Secures all doors, windows, and exits, depending on shift

Qualifications and Educational Background
● High school diploma or equivalent
● Law enforcement experience
● Experience with security equipment and surveillance systems
