We count on our Host / Hostess / Greeter for a number of duties. The Host / Hostess / Greeter is responsible for cheerfully greeting the guests, escorting them to their table, providing them with a menu, and answering any preliminary questions. Restaurant Host / Hostess / Greeter is generally offered as a part time restaurant job. Prior experience as host, hostess, greeter, maitre d, matradee, maitres d, or other part time restaurant job highly desirable.

- Some experience is preferred, but we will train the right person also.
- A warm and outgoing personality with a passion for food and customer service.
- Must have a commitment to deliver a unique and memorable guest experience.
- Punctual, patient, and mindful.
- Fluent in English and proficiency in other languages is a plus.
- Familiarity with OpenTable is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Greeting and seating Guests in timely manner
- Managing restaurant waiting list during high volume times to accurately set guest expectations
- Assisting in cleaning, clearing, and resetting tables for our next guests
- Performing opening and closing duties
- Monitoring table rotations.
- Keeping track of prepared tables for new guests.
- Answering the phone, taking reservations, and in some cases managing take-out orders.
