Hospitality Manager - Luxury Guest House - Knysna
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Hospitality Manager to join our team at a luxury guest house in Knysna. This is suited for someone with a passion for hospitality, strong organizational skills, and a hands-on approach to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Responsibilities:
-Oversee the day-to-day operations of the guest house, ensuring the highest standards of service.
-Handle all bookings and reservations via NightsBridge and other online booking platforms (e.g., Booking.com, Airbnb, Expedia).
-Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to drive occupancy and revenue.
-Host and coordinate functions and small events at the guest house.
-Provide personalized guest interaction and ensure a welcoming atmosphere throughout the guest experience.
-Supervise and manage housekeeping, maintenance, and kitchen teams.
-Maintain accurate records of bookings, guest feedback, and financial transactions.
Requirements:
-Proven experience in hospitality management, preferably in a guest house, boutique hotel, or luxury lodge.
-Strong working knowledge of NightsBridge and other online travel agent (OTA) platforms.
-Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
-Well-organized and able to multitask under pressure.
-Willing to work hospitality hours, including weekends and holidays.
-Creative mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional guest service.
-Culinary skills is a bonus
-Valid driver's license preferred.
Salary R20 000 per month negotiable
