Job Description
What does working as a Home Care Assistant involve?
- Providing Personal Care & Companionship services
- Helping clients in and out of bed
- Supporting clients with hobbies and activities
- Providing a range of non-medical services
- Very rewarding role, by helping people stay in their own home
- No experience necessary - Paid training provided and shadowing support from a colleague when you start
- Competitive hourly rates, with higher pay on a weekend
- Clients are local to York (not in rural areas)
- Contract of employment with company pension and 5.6 weeks annual leave (pro-rata)
- Part time or full time roles available
- Mileage paid (weekly)
- Free vehicle MOT inspection for drivers, or a free bicycle service for cyclists
