Position: Home Care Assistant Location: London Borough of Tower Hamlets Employment Type: Full-time or Part-time

  Responsibilities - Provide personalised care and support to clients in their homes, assisting with daily living activities and promoting independence. - Establish strong rapport with clients, ensuring their physical and emotional comfort while respecting their preferences and choices. - Assist with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting, while preserving the client's dignity and privacy. - Administer medications in accordance with prescribed schedules and guidelines, adhering to our strict medication management policies. - Support clients with meal preparation, feeding assistance, and maintaining a balanced and nutritious diet. - Collaborate with the care team to create and maintain individualized care plans, ensuring that each client's needs are met effectively. - Monitor and report any changes in the client's health or well-being promptly to the appropriate supervisor or healthcare professional. - Engage clients in meaningful activities and companionship, promoting social interaction and mental stimulation. Requirements - Previous experience in a similar caregiving or support role is preferred but not essential; we offer comprehensive training for enthusiastic individuals with a strong desire to make a difference. - Caring and compassionate nature with the ability to demonstrate empathy and understanding towards the needs of our clients. - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to build positive relationships with clients and their families. - Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work independently and as part of a caring team. - A valid driver's license (if required) and access to reliable transportation.
