About the job
We are looking for an enthusiastic, innovative History teacher to join our diverse Team for September 2018. You must have Qualified Teacher Status in the UK, or an equivalent overseas qualification with UK teaching experience. Applications from Newly Qualified Teachers due to qualify this summer are encouraged and an excellent NQT package would be available if appropriate.
Having been designated as one of the first 100 Teaching Schools in July 2011 we have a proven history of outreach with other schools, both at a Primary and Secondary level. We are also a school with significant strength in the CPD of staff, developing our teachers for the next stage of their careers. Graded as ‘OUTSTANDING’ by Ofsted in November 2012 for the third consecutive inspection, we are committed to being a centre of innovation, creativity and enjoyment for both students and staff. We are currently involved in the planning and developing of two new schools within the Wildern catchment, a secondary and primary school. This is an exciting time for the trust and all colleagues joining us.
