Job description
We are seeking a Digital Hardware Engineer to join our Hardware team. The role involves leading the design and development of complex digital hardware boards—from concept and block diagram through to production release.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop block diagrams and schematics from the initial concept phase.
- Design high-speed digital circuit boards.
- Define specifications, design, test, bring-up, integrate, and release new products for production.
- Create Hardware Design Specifications and test plans.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with all R&D disciplines to meet design objectives.
- Provide engineering support for existing designs in production.
- Guide PCB layout designers throughout the design process.
- Work closely with FPGA, software, and test engineering teams during product integration.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Required:
- B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering.
- 3+ years of experience as a Hardware Engineer.
- Proven experience in high-speed circuit design and layout (required).
- Experience with schematic and layout design tools (Altium preferred).
- Experience with Signal Integrity (SI) and Power Integrity (PI) analysis (advantage).
- Experience in military or defense-related applications (advantage).
- Experience with RF design (advantage).
- Familiarity with certification processes such as CE, FCC, MIL-STD-461 (advantage).
- Knowledge of Linux (advantage).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated, team-oriented, and well-organized.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
