Job Description:

We seek a highly skilled and creative Graphics Designer & Video Creator

to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing graphics and video creation (especially for social media), a keen eye for detail, and a passion for storytelling through visual media. You will support the paid advertising team with graphics and videos to help us acquire new users.

Responsibilities:

Creative Development:

• Design static and animated creatives tailored for various paid ad platforms (Facebook, Google, Instagram, TikTok, etc.).

• Create engaging short-form videos, GIFs optimised for performance and audience engagement.

• Develop and animate graphics, logos, and visual elements to bring static images and ideas to life.

• Edit raw video footage, including splicing, trimming, and adding transitions, to create a compelling narrative.

• Add music, sound effects, and voice-overs to enhance the video's overall impact.

• Ensure all visual assets and content adhere to brand guidelines and standards.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with the marketing team to understand campaign goals, target audiences, and messaging.

• Partner with the marketing manager to ensure creatives align with brand identity and messaging.

Trendspotting:

• Stay updated on design trends, platform updates, and audience preferences to create cutting-edge designs.

• Proactively suggest new ideas for creatives and formats.

Requirements:

• Proven experience of 2+ years as a graphics designer and Video Editor.

• Excellent knowledge of graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.

• Strong portfolio showcasing video editing and graphic design skills.

• Ability to convey a clear narrative and visual story through the editing process.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Attention to detail and a keen eye for quality.

• Familiarity with social media platforms and their requirements.

• Knowledge of video formats and compression techniques.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
