About the job
We are seeking a Remote Graphic Designer with digital and marketing to be part of our team.
The Graphic Designer will work within the brand team at Food Service Direct. The Graphic Designer will partner with cross-functional teams in marketing, branding, and other applicable teams at FSD to create content for our website, emails, print, and social media, as well as other special design projects.
This is a contracted temp role for 3-6 months with potential for extension.
Responsibilities:
Create eye-catching graphics and engaging designs
Handle graphic projects from start to finish
Develop and maintain image library files
Coordinate with outside agencies and services as needed
Submit rough layouts for project approval
Manage design projects for FSD
Directly manage junior graphic designers
Contribute to overall brand consistency supporting the brand director at FSD
Work directly with our marketing and branding team to deliver high quality content for all projects
Collaborate with marketing teams and management to discuss the direction design needs to take in order to effectively achieve brand consistency and recognition
Design and deliver banners & other content pieces for the FSD website, including homepage, brand pages, and other landing pages
Pitch ideas for branding upgrades both internally and externally to achieve brand elevation through design
Collaborate with our external agency partners on projects as needed
Create and optimize site images where need be
Design and create print creative for box inserts, promos, etc.
Maintain design project tracker
Qualifications:
4 Year College Degree preferred
4+ Years Graphic Design experience preferred
3+ Years Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
E-Commerce industry experience preferred but not required
Food Service experience preferred but not required
Strong Business Communication skills, both verbal and written
Proven ability to perform well in a collaborative environment
Self-motivated and self-starter with a creative mindset
Possess graphic design portfolio
