In pursuance to Govt. Order No. 383-JK(HME) of 2024 dated 20.06.2024, applications are invited from eligible candidates possessing requisite qualifications as per the latest Teachers Eligibility Qualifications in Medical Institutions Regulations, as notified by the National Medical Commission (NMC) in the concerned discipline. The Application Form together with instructions for filling it up will be available at the official website of the College (www.gmcjammu.nic.in) from 20/10/2025. Candidates are advised to go through the instructions and all eligibility conditions prescribed for the post before filling the Application Form. The last date for submission of application complete in all respects along with the requisite fee (through e-mail pmc-gmcjammu@jk.gov.in) as well as receipt of hard copy is 20/11/2025. The last date for receipt of applications provided in the notification shall be the cut-off date for determining eligibility. The number of posts of Senior Residents available in the department shall depend on the number of vacancies to be finalized by the Selection Committee at the time of selection.Disciplines for Senior Resident Posts

Additional Instructions
All applications shall be accepted only through email. No offline or late applications will be entertained. Incomplete applications or those missing certificates, affidavits, or fee receipts shall be rejected. Application fee: Rs. 2000/-, to be paid in Account Number: 03730100000001, IFSC: JAKA0MEDJAM (J&K Bank). Applicants must also send a complete PDF including qualification documents and fee proof to pmc-gmcjammu@jk.gov.in, and non-PSC candidates must submit a hard copy of the application form to the Office of the Principal, GMC Jammu, on or before 20-11-2025. In-service candidates shall apply through proper channel. A waiting list shall be maintained for each discipline for three months.
