As an Analyst/Associate in the Japan Coverage team, you will be a key player in the execution of the firm's business. You will work with expert professionals at the heart of a leading global investment bank.
Job responsibilities
- Play a role in implementing the execution and deal origination function including working with assisting more senior bankers
- Process strong function skills in the major areas of investment banking
- Demonstrate high enthusiasm towards J.P. Morgan's mission and be driven and committed to its success
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Japanese is required to support Japan clients
- Prior work experience in an investment banking front office or related role
- Strong accounting, finance, quantitative, business writing and process management skills
- A well-rounded academic background from a top tier educational institution
- Understanding of transaction cycle and the steps in the process and is execution oriented
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Proficiency in business-level English is preferred, though not mandatory, with a strong willingness to learn and improve
- Impeccable communication details with the ability to effectively interact with senior professionals, clients and key stakeholders in other line of business
- Self-directed, highly motivated, and able to work independently
