(approx.) + any on call support payment whenever required The role: Manage Geospatial servers and software environments, including security policies, upgrades, modifications, and maintenance. Develop and document processes and standards for Geospatial applications, work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, and act as a subject matter expert to promote platform benefits and establish best practices. Collaborate with Enterprise Infrastructure to monitor and optimize Geospatial Platform performance, manage SDLC, and promote/migrate/upgrade content between environments. Engage with stakeholders to define geospatial requirements, provide proactive support and issue resolution, prepare recommendations, and take initiative to deliver results while managing expectations, deadlines, and budgets. Act as a Geospatial advocate, providing expert advice and building trust with customers through productive dialogue and appropriate resource allocation. The ideal candidate: · Good years of experience managing software configurations for a full-scale Geospatial platform or equivalent. (Mandatory) · Proven experience with application development and technical requirements analysis, business process modelling/mapping, methodology development, and data modelling. (Important to have most of these) · Experience with SQL Server Management Studio and T-SQL (good to have). · Experience with automated deployment patterns, CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code (good to have). · Willingness to understand, demonstrate and value the use of tikanga where appropriate.
