About the job
Starbank is a very large school which has been growing steadily since 2010. We were originally a split-site primary school and were rated outstanding when last inspected in 2012. In 2014 we became an all-through school, introducing a new secondary intake each year since September 2014. A brand new building was opened in September 2016 which can accommodate 900 secondary students in addition to 420 of our primary pupils.
We would like to appoint an outstanding candidate as a new Geography teacher. The post is open to all but an NQT is particularly welcome. A willingness to teach in other humanities subjects is an asset but definitely not essential. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right person.
If you have evidence of successful teaching and feel you have the character and moral purpose to really improve children's futures please download the further information. Visits are welcomed and can be arranged via email to g.hudson@starbank.bham.sch.uk or text/phone to 07545 501205.
Closing date: Tuesday 23 January
Starbank School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment. An enhanced DBS check is required for all successful applicants. Successful applicant(s) will need to provide evidence of their Identity and Right to Work in the UK.
