Description
The Facilities Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the facility and the grounds and performs maintenance and repairs as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Maintains facility to include painting, changing bulbs (interior and exterior), minor plumbing repairs, minor electrical repairs (replacing switches, outlets, etc.), repairing walls, snow removal, among other duties as directed.
- Cleaning duties include stripping/ waxing floors, cleaning the floors in the warehouse, and bailing cardboard.
- Assist Stores and trade shows, including building props, as directed. May travel to stores and perform repairs and perform cleaning on an annual basis
- Drive company vehicles to complete errands as directed by supervisor.
- May be required to work in excess of 40 hours per week periodically as business needs require, including weekends as necessary.
Expectations
- High school diploma or equivalent experience required.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis and to stand for several hours at a time, and the ability to climb ladders/stairs, twist, bend, squat, and kneel.
- Experience with maintenance: minor electrical, painting, and basic carpentry required.
- Must have valid drivers license with no restrictions.
