This early stage company, still operating in stealth, is on a mission to eradicate cost overruns in construction, a $3 trillion problem that slows down cities, destroys margins, and erodes trust between builders and clients.

Over 90% of construction projects go over budget, eroding builder margins and stalling progress across the industry. Our platform takes a new approach to helping builders stay on budget by detecting and preventing costly variations before they spiral. Our AI-powered early warning system gives builders control over project costs — protecting time, margin, and reputation on every build.

We are at the start of something big and we’re looking for our first commercial hire to build the sales function from the ground up. You’ll work hand-in-hand with the two founders to define how we goes to market, shape our GTM playbook, and bring a high-impact product with tangible ROI to an outdated industry that impacts everybody in the world.

We are looking for someone who thrives on early traction, autonomy, and the chance to create something that matters. This is a hybrid role with a temporary office in Mascot (relocation pending).

What You’ll Do

  • Own the entire sales cycle from prospecting and qualification to closing enterprise deals.
  • Hit (and exceed) revenue goals through new business acquisition and account expansion.
  • Deeply understand how builders operate and show how ZorosAI helps them protect profits, time and prevent scope creep.
  • Partner with product and engineering to deliver seamless onboarding and a standout customer experience.
  • Design and implement scalable sales processes from documentation to tools and CRM setup — as our founding GTM hire.
  • Feed customer insights back into product development, shaping the roadmap based on real-world pain points.
  • Build lasting relationships with senior decision-makers across target accounts.
  • Refine and test our value proposition and sales messaging in collaboration with the founders.

  • 5+ years’ experience in enterprise SaaS or AI-driven B2B sales, ideally selling into the construction or built-environment sector - a rolodex will be highly valuable.
  • A proven hunter who builds pipelines from scratch and consistently hits ambitious targets.
  • Comfortable navigating complex, consultative sales cycles with multiple stakeholders.
  • Skilled at translating technical solutions into clear ROI for non-technical audiences.
  • Curious, resourceful, and commercially minded — you love learning how things work and spotting opportunities to improve them.
  • A trusted communicator and relationship builder, credible at every level from site manager to CEO.
  • Energised by AI’s potential to transform how construction projects are delivered — and eager to bring that change to life.
