THE ROLE

CEEZER is a platform for CO2 compensation and high-tech removal credits with access to >8,000 climate projects worldwide, verified by globally recognized registries. Transactions take place between corporations and project developers at the source, without any middlemen or hidden fees. CEEZER achieves this by providing scientific quality and pricing insights that help buyers and sellers interact, while allowing them to monitor credits in a balanced, high-quality portfolio.

We are looking for a highly motivated Founders' Associate Intern (f/d/m) starting asap. You’ll collaborate with our CEO, the Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR), and with other C-Level and Leadership team members in a very fast-moving and VC-funded startup and will work on many exciting aspects of our business.
YOUR TASKS
  • Collaborate closely with the CEO and EIR, not only on daily tasks but also in advancing and driving strategic initiatives across the company.
  • Provide support in financial modeling and budgeting, ensuring a transparent view of financial performance and future projections.
  • Perform market research and analysis to facilitate and enable strategic projects and decision-making.
  • Identify and address improvements in processes and operations to ensure scalability.
  • Aid in the creation of reports and presentations for the C-Level, investors, or other external stakeholders.
  • Participate in special projects initiated by the C-Level, encompassing a wide range of scopes and topics, and offer assistance to teams when critical.
  • Additionally, cover operational processes end-to-end.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
  • Strong determination to go the extra mile, coupled with a willingness to tackle essential tasks head-on.
  • Swift adaptability to shifting priorities within a dynamic business environment.
  • An analytical and data-driven mindset, along with proficient Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Prior internship experience in consulting, investment banking, high-growth startups, VC/PE, or another dynamic, fast-paced setting.
  • Nearing the final stages or successful completion of your academic (bachelor's/master's) journey with outstanding achievements.
  • Excellent communication abilities in English.
  • Residing in Berlin or demonstrating a willingness to relocate to Berlin for the duration of the internship.
  • Possession of a valid German work permit or eligibility to work legally within the European Union.
