Candidate Requirements and Essential Criteria Desired Professional Attributes Prior aviation experience is not a mandatory requirement. easyJet is primarily focused on a candidate's professionalism, positive attitude, and demonstrable passion for delivering exceptional customer service. Successful candidates typically possess the following attributes: A minimum of six months' experience in a customer-facing or people-focused role. The ability to communicate clearly, confidently, and kindly with diverse audiences. Proficiency in remaining calm under pressure and executing informed, safety-focused decisions. A strong affinity for working collaboratively within a diverse and energetic team. A commitment to taking ownership, solving complex problems with empathy, and exceeding customer expectations to ensure a memorable experience. Regulatory and Operational Essentials To meet strict regulatory and operational mandates, candidates must satisfy the following criteria: Be 18 years of age or older. Meet specific height requirements: minimum 5’2” (157.5 cm) and maximum 6’3” (190 cm) without shoes. Demonstrate fluency in both written and spoken English. Hold the unrestricted right to work in the UK, possessing a valid passport permitting unrestricted travel across the UK, EEA, and the easyJet network. (Please note: Skilled Worker visa sponsorship is not available for this role). Reside within a 90-minute commuting distance of the chosen base. Have no visible tattoos on the head, face, or neck. All visible tattoos must be inoffensive. Be comfortable selling items from the CAFE.SHOP range, including alcoholic beverages, which contributes to potential commission earnings. Successfully pass demanding water safety assessments: swimming 25 metres unaided, treading water, inflating a life jacket, and climbing into a life raft. Pass a comprehensive UK CAA Cabin Crew medical examination and fit securely into a jump seat utilizing a lap belt and shoulder harness.
