Workshop Vehicle/Plant Technician – Durham – 6 month Contract
Due to an increased workload Durham County council are looking to recruit a Workshop repair technician, you will be required to carry out routine maintenance and repairs of a varied fleet of vehicles which cover multiple services across the authority, including plant vehicles and specialist equipment.
You will also be required to undertake administrative duties including completion of time sheets, job cards , inspection /servicing documentation using both paper and electronic format.
The ideal candidate would hold a minimum LGV or HGV maintenance or Horticultural qualification or NVQ 2 along with a cat B license.
Working hours are 7 -5.30 Monday – Thursday and 5pm finish Friday
