About the job

We are recruiting a Financial Controller for a FinTech innovator with a new office in Gibraltar. This leading and internationally regulated online Trading and Brokerage group is seeking an FC for its Gibraltar representative office.

As the Financial Controller in Gibraltar, you’ll be responsible for all aspects of financial management, including accounting, payment, banking and financial reporting as well as development of internal control policies and procedures, reporting to the Head Office finance department.

Role

✔ Preparing financial reports and analyse financial data.
✔ Performing monthly and annual closings.
✔ Managing Balance Sheets and P&L Statements.
✔ Maintaining an accurate record of daily financial transactions.
✔ Undertaking bank, AP and AR reconciliations.
✔ Participating in budgeting processes.
✔ Managing vendors and other payment requests.
✔ Managing and complying with all relevant local government statutory reporting requirements and tax filings.
✔ Perform additional controller duties as necessary.

Skills

✔ University Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
✔ Experience in a similar accounting position.
✔ Sound knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping fundamentals.
✔ Analytical mind with strong data entry and manipulation skills.
✔ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
✔ Ability to produce work with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
