Job Description
Analyze investment data and explain investment results via commentary.
Document, maintain, and report findings monthly as it pertains to the investment portfolio.
Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly investment reporting, on a management and U.S. GAAP basis.
Prepare journal entries and account review for larger and diverse Chubb business units.
Prepare reconciliations and research out-of-balances by running queries, analyzing PeopleSoft accounts, and presenting findings to the reporting manager.
Communicate effectively with all business partners.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business with a major in Accounting or Finance
1-3 years of related financial industry experience
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent computer skills with an ability to learn investment accounting software
Ability to multi-task and prioritize deadlines
Strong organizational skills and proven ability to work independently
Microsoft Word and Excel experience required
Proven problem-solving skills
Team player with customer service orientation
Strong time management and organization skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proven leadership experience in an academic or business setting
