Job Description

  • Analyze investment data and explain investment results via commentary.

  • Document, maintain, and report findings monthly as it pertains to the investment portfolio.

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly investment reporting, on a management and U.S. GAAP basis.

  • Prepare journal entries and account review for larger and diverse Chubb business units.

  • Prepare reconciliations and research out-of-balances by running queries, analyzing PeopleSoft accounts, and presenting findings to the reporting manager.

  • Communicate effectively with all business partners.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business with a major in Accounting or Finance

  • 1-3 years of related financial industry experience

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Excellent computer skills with an ability to learn investment accounting software

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize deadlines

  • Strong organizational skills and proven ability to work independently

  • Microsoft Word and Excel experience required

  • Proven problem-solving skills

  • Team player with customer service orientation

  • Strong time management and organization skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Proven leadership experience in an academic or business setting

  • Enthusiastic self-starter with professional attitude
