Financial Analyst

Our client, a well-established and mission-driven organization, is seeking a Financial Analyst with a strong accounting background to join their finance team. This position plays a key role in budgeting, financial reporting, and analysis across multiple facilities, supporting both operational and executive leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the annual budgeting process, including preparation of financial data and supporting analyses.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports in accordance with established standards and deadlines.

• Conduct financial reviews with facility leadership, providing insight into results and variances.

• Complete and distribute board-level financial reports and assist with external reporting requirements.

• Perform reconciliations, internal audits, and variance analyses to ensure data accuracy and compliance.

• Support the preparation of actuarial data requests, Medicare cost reports, and other regulatory filings.

• Develop multi-year financial projections and recurring analyses to support strategic decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; MBA or CPA preferred.

• 3–5 years of experience in general accounting and financial reporting.

• Strong understanding of P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.

• Experience with Great Plains, Solver, or Management Reporter software a plus.

• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively across departments.
