As Finance Operations Manager at Ledgy, you'll streamline financial operations and ensure accurate reporting that supports growth across markets. Reporting into the Head of Operations & AI, you'll split your time between leading strategic work and driving operational excellence.
At Ledgy, you will:
- Lead financial planning and operations including forecasting, budget, cashflow management, and accounting
- Own core finance operations (accounting processes, quarterly budget reviews)
- Coordinate external accountants and drive monthly close and yearly financial audits
- Manage payments and payroll preparation
- Manage equity administration directly in Ledgy
- Develop and monitor financial performance metrics; provide stakeholders with timely insights into trends, operational results, and growth drivers
- Provide real-time visibility into the unit economics of our business and identify opportunities to improve GTM strategy
- Drive operational and financial efficiency, including evaluating our procurement processes and currency management
- Ensure compliance with financial reporting and tax laws in our core markets
- Implement process improvements to reduce operational workload across Finance and Operations
- Partner with our Revenue Ops team to develop strategies and processes that drive growth and manage:
- Quarterly commission calculations for Sales and CS teams
- Subscription management and billing in Stripe
The job is a good fit if you:
- Have 3-5+ years of experience in a B2B SaaS startup managing Finance or experience in Big 4 financial audit with a desire to transition into the startup world
- Have solid understanding of financial and tax reporting
- Are proficient in financial systems and accounting software
- Have experience processing multi-country payroll and payments
- Are analytical, detail-oriented and enjoy leading complex, cross-functional projects
- Have excellent verbal and written communication; fluent in English and German
- M&A experience is a strong plus
