The Role

We’re hiring a Finance Operations Lead to own and scale all Core Finance workflows — from accounting and treasury to closing processes and financial tools. You’ll work closely with the Head of Finance and leadership team to bring financial clarity and operational excellence to every part of the business.

What You'll Be Doing

• Build and manage all core finance workflows: GL, AP/AR, payroll, employee reimbursements, and invoicing

• Own the month-end close process and ensure accurate financial reporting

• Set up internal controls, audit readiness, and compliance frameworks

• Manage our treasury operations: payments, banking, cash flow planning

• Evaluate and implement finance tools (e.g. ERP, spend management, consolidation tools)

• Work closely with external accountants, tax advisors, and auditors

• Support budgeting and cost tracking in collaboration with FP&A

What We're Looking For

• 3–6 years of experience in finance operations, accounting, or controlling — ideally in a fast-paced startup or scale-up

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, closing processes, and treasury

• Hands-on attitude: you love building systems and getting into the details

• Comfort working with external providers (accounting firms, banks, etc.)

• Highly organized and process-driven with a sharp eye for detail

• Bonus: experience with IFRS, audit processes, and French GAAP/tax

Interview Process

1. Intro Call (30 min)
   An initial conversation with our Talent Acquisition Lead to get to know you better and share more details about the role, the team, and how we work at Bitstack

2. Deep-Dive Interview (60 min)
   A discussion with our CEO focused on how you approach problem-solving, communicate your ideas, and prioritize decisions.

3. Take Home Task & Task Review Call (60 min)
   You’ll receive a practical task to complete in your own time. Once submitted, we’ll schedule a review call to walk through your solution together and explore your thought process in more detail.

4. Behavioural Interview (60 min)
   A conversation centered on your experiences, decision-making, and collaboration style. We’ll discuss real-world scenarios to understand how you navigate technical challenges, teamwork, and stakeholder interactions.
