Payoneer is looking for a Finance Director to join our extremely fast-growing global Fintech business in Hong Kong. The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a fast-paced, multi-tasking and high energy environment.
The position will report to the Senior Director of Finance, Asia Pacific.

What you’ll be spending your time on:
- Be responsible for planning, directing and controlling finance operations across APAC region covering accounting, AR/AP, and payroll operations
- Oversee audits of financial statements and implementing policies to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, accounting standards for US GAAP and local
- Lead period closing activities including preparation of financial reporting packages containing fluctuation analysis and payroll processing, in a timely and accurate manner
- Manage an internal team and outsourced financial services provider across APAC region which covers the abovementioned scope (accounting, AR/AP, payroll operations)
- Ensure compliance with financial regulatory requirements for licensed/regulated operations to applicable regions in APAC by reviewing, implementing, and monitoring safeguarding measures
- Identify opportunities for increased efficiency and drive execution, through leading the team and building collaborative relationships with stakeholders

For this role you also have:
- Qualified professional accountant (HKICPA, ACCA, CA, CPA or equivalent), with a minimum of 8 years of proven working experience as a finance leader
- Deep proficiency in accounting, financial statements, finance process
- Excels at multi-tasking, organization and time management – meets deadline in a fast-paced work environment
- A strong communicator with the ability to build collaborative partnerships across different departments and regions in APAC and globally
- Excellent proficiency in written and spoken English
- Able to converse in Cantonese and Mandarin, additional language proficiency an advantage
- Knowledge of US GAAP (in addition to local GAAPs across APAC region) would be a significant advantage
- Experience in a multinational fast growing tech organization is an advantage
