What's exciting about the role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Field Technician to join our South Area team. In this role, you will provide on-site technical support, installation, and training for customers, as well as general maintenance, repairs, and the sale of ancillary products. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team, serve diverse customers, and help drive satisfaction through superior service.
Main responsibilities
- Customer Support & Service: Provide prompt, professional service for customer installations, technical support, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Verifone products.
- Installation & Training: Execute installations and deliver on-site training for new customers, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience.
- Maintenance & Repair: Conduct regular maintenance and repairs to ensure the functionality and reliability of Verifone equipment.
- Sales of Ancillary Products: Identify customer needs and recommend additional Verifone products or services that would benefit their business.
Skills and Experience we desire
- Previous experience as a Service Technician or similar role is preferred.
- Basic technical knowledge of hardware systems is advantageous.
- Formal training or certification as an Electronics or PC Technician is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to train and support customers effectively.
- Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and handle field responsibilities autonomously.
- Strong service orientation, representing Verifone with integrity and dedication.
- Willingness to work in a dynamic environment, including rotating Fridays.
- Valid driver’s license required.
