Field Service Technician
About the job
Can you work independently and carry out major repairs on earthmoving equipment with minimal assistance and accurately diagnose faults? Are you looking to join an OEM known for high performance machinery? Liebherr Earthmoving Division has a new opportunity for an experienced and motivated technician to be based in the Pillbara region.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnostics and troubleshooting of Mechanical, Hydraulic and Electrical systems
- Major and minor services
- Maintenance and component replacements
- Fabrication and new machine build as required
- Complete service reporting and manufacturers documentation
- Expand and maintain customer relationships in the field
- Dealing directly with Key Customers
- Adhere to safety guidelines in the workplace
About you
- Trade qualification in Diesel or Mobile Plant Mechanics
- Strong diagnostic skills and fault-finding ability
- Flexibility to travel to customer sites and work over-time as required
- A current driver’s license
- Forklift and Air conditioning accreditation advantageous
- Basic Word and Excel abilities
- Commitment to maintain, and adhere to safety
- guidelines in the workplace
