Family Practice Full-Time position in Sappington, Missouri

SSM Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Medicine Physician to join our team at Ronnie\'s Plaza in South St. Louis, Missouri. Responsibilities: * Provide comprehensive primary care services, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up for a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions. * Perform routine physical examinations and preventive health measures within prescribed guidelines. * Develop treatment plans based on scientific rationale, standards of care, and professional practice guidelines. * Prescribe and administer medications, therapies, and treatments as appropriate. * Educate and counsel patients and their families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment options. * Coordinate care with specialists and other healthcare providers as needed. * Maintain accurate and timely patient records using electronic health record (EHR) systems. * Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical protocols and guidelines. * Engage in continuous professional development and stay current with advancements in family medicine. Qualifications: * Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school. * Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine. * Valid medical license to practice in the state of Missouri. * Proven experience in a family medicine or primary care setting. * Strong clinical skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-based environment. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Commitment to patient-centered care and evidence-based medicine. * Ability to manage a diverse patient population with a wide range of health needs.
