Primary Responsibilities
OTI is seeking an experienced and hands on Facility Manager to oversee and maintain all facility equipment, infrastructure, and systems. The ideal candidate is a practical problem solver who thrives in a fast paced environment and takes pride in the upkeep, performance, and safety of building operations.
· Take full ownership of all facility systems and equipment, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and safety systems
· Perform regular inspections, preventative maintenance, and hands-on repairs as needed to ensure all systems operate efficiently and safely
· Facilitate operators for any troubleshooting of equipment
· Manage and coordinate maintenance schedules, contractors, and service providers.
· Monitor building systems and promptly respond to alarms, outages, or performance issues.
· Maintain accurate records of maintenance logs, inspections, equipment manuals, and vendor contracts.
· Support facility upgrades, space planning, and improvement projects.
· Manage facilities-related budgets, supplies, and spare parts inventory.
· Serve as the go-to contact for all facility-related emergencies and after-hours issues.
· Other ad hoc duties as assigned
· Ensure compliance with environmental policies, procedures, and objectives, and actively participate in the identification and reduction of environmental impacts related to the role
· Adhere to health and safety protocols, report hazards, and contribute to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for all employees
· Must have the ability to work all shifts (e.g. morning and evening shifts, weekend shifts, and holiday shifts)
Profile
· Degree in Science, Engineering, or a related field
· 5+ years of proven experience in facility management, building maintenance, or a related field
Required Skills
· Strong technical knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical)
· Familiarity with local building codes, OSHA regulations, and safety procedures
· Good computer skills, including MS Office
· Strong technical problems-solving skills
