Facilities Specialist

Location: Office-based, Exton, PA

Position Summary:

A Facilities Specialist oversees the maintenance and operation of the organization's buildings, equipment, and grounds. They coordinate repairs, enforce safety measures, and are responsible for the overall appearance of the facilities.

Your Day-to-Day:

  • Oversee the daily operation of facility equipment and systems.
  • Coordinate and schedule repairs and maintenance with outside contractors.
  • Inspect facilities to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Manage inventory of supplies and equipment.
  • Coordinate construction and renovation projects as needed.
  • Maintain accurate facility records and prepare reports for management.
  • This is a full-time role expected to work 40 hours per week, office-based in the US.
  • Requires sitting or standing at will while performing work on a computer (or any other physical requirements). The role requires communication with managers, peers, and other colleagues of the company in person, and by utilizing Microsoft Teams chat, calling, and meeting functions.

What You Bring to The Team:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in facilities operations and knowledge of maintenance systems, technical operations, building codes, and regulations are preferred.
  • Basic Handyman skills: ability to lift 60 lbs., climb ladders, and proficiency in using basic power/hand tools.
  • Basic computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite software
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong Interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license for local travel in company vehicle.
