Working in Real Estate at Formlabs, a 3D printing company, we source, design, build and manage spaces for our dynamic Formlings. We’re excited to build and reinvent spaces that support the development of our hardware, software and materials that allow Formlings to continue to build products at blazing speed.

If you want to help design, manage and create spaces for Formlings, we want you to join our team as a Facilities Operations Manager. In this role, you'll support facilities work in a portfolio of our offices, warehouses and R&D facilities across the globe. This role will collaborate with key business leaders to shape the strategy for how we allocate space, power, HVAC capacity and other utilities while juggling the day to day challenges of managing a space.

As a Facilities Operations Manager, you will:

  • Go-to leader of day to day operations at several sites across our global real estate portfolio of office, warehouse and R&D sites
  • Build credibility with internal and external stakeholders by operationalizing our buildings where we can to be able to to engage when unexpected challenges arise
  • Own all site budgeting, invoice auditing and reporting on progress to goals
  • Manage employees tickets to completion, recognize if issues become a pattern and proactively communicate updates to site
  • Manage rolodex of vendors that can support sites as needed

You:

  • Energetic problem solver that can build consensus
  • Strategic relationship manager that builds reputation as ‘go-to person’ internally and externally when working collaboratively
  • Ability to look around corners to anticipate challenges as we continue to develop products and change processes
  • Strong, proactive communicator with Formlings at all levels in the organization

Bonus Points:

  • Experience working with general contractors, architects or other trades
  • Understanding of utilities management, including power and HVAC
