Facilities Manager
West End
£50,000 - £55,000
Hexagon Group has an exciting opportunity for a Facilities Manager to join a niche real estate practice. In this role, you will manage a small portfolio of commercial properties in the West End, all within walking distance of each other. You will have an office within the portfolio, shared with your client. With this in mind, we are looking for a strong communicator who can effectively manage client expectations.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing company with a strong track record of promoting team members into senior positions. Over the past three years, they have expanded the team on this instruction by at least 15 members and continue to identify opportunities for further growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Day to day management of your allocated portfolio, providing exceptional levels of customer service to your tenant / client.
- Overseeing statutory compliance across your portfolio and ensuring health & safety protocols are being followed.
- Preparing site risk assessments for each property and uploaded on to the relevant system.
- Responsible for managing each site's service charge budget from preparation to reconciliation.
- Management of the hard & service partners on-site, and monitoring their performance
- Ensuring each site is clean and presentable, with any issues addressed promptly.
- Conducting regular site walkarounds and maintaining visibility with tenants.
You will have previous experience in the commercial property management sector, specifically in managing multi-tenanted properties. A strong understanding of service charge budgets is essential, including experience in setting them, along with solid knowledge of statutory compliance and health & safety regulations.
Strong communication skills are crucial, as you will be working closely with senior stakeholders both internally and externally, forming a close working relationship with your client.
Additionally, holding an IOSH or NEBOSH Certificate would be advantageous.
