Shift: 10:00 PM-6:00 AM
Hourly Rate: $38.35 an hour + $.40 shift differentialThis position in available on 2nd shift reporting to the Maintenance Team Lead. Responsible for using machine tools to produce precision metal part that meet precise specifications. This position also assists maintenance personnel with overall operation of maintenance activities.
- Review the work schedule, electronic or written blueprints or specifications for a job and check supplies required to perform the work scheduled.
- Machine parts and other requested items meeting departmental specifications. Assist in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist all Trades with repairs, replacements, adjustments, modifications to equipment, machinery, wiring, piping etc. as directed.
- Maintain tools, equipment and work area in a clean and orderly manner and in compliance with 5S requirements.
- Weld, cut and grid production equipment, parts, machinery and tools. Perform job duties according to the following work instructions.
Must have:
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Must possess a minimum of 1 years’ experience in parts fabrication / machinist or equivalent education
- Must be able to use CAD
- Must be able to TIG and MIG Weld to Sanitary Design Standards
- Welding Certification preferred
