A fast-growing, mission-driven healthy school meal foodservice company is seeking a reliable & friendly delivery driver to join our energetic team for seasonal/summer employment. The ideal driver will possess super customer service skills and flexibility to work with Gourmet Gorilla staff and school administration. In this position, you will have the opportunity to gain skills and experience, grow within the company, and help us achieve our mission of providing nutritious meals to all children. You should have strong moral character, with a willingness and appreciation for open dialogue and transparency.
Must have valid drivers license. Cdl license a plus.

Gourmet Gorilla Delivery Driver
Essential Duties:
- Packing truck with delivery items
- Checking and confirming delivery items
- Deliveries in and around Chicago
- Delivering quality customer service to schools
Job Details
- Full Time Position Hours: 6 am – 2 pm (approx)
- Days: 5 days a week, Monday – Friday availability
- Location: 1200 W. Cermak, Pilsen neighborhood
- Start: Immediately
- Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 hr
- Dental, Vision and Health Insurance Available after 90 days
- 401k available after 90 days
Requirements
- 2-3 years driving experience
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Clean driving record & background check
- Applicant must be reliable, punctual, presentable
- Knowledge of Chicagoland streets and geography a plus
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and occasionally climb stairs
