Executive Curriculum Leader - Head of Science

What You Will Do:

  • Manage the department's resources, budget, and strategic goals, ensuring sustained progress and success.

  • Work collaboratively as a senior leader to drive school-wide initiatives and improvements.

  • Champion high standards in teaching, assessment, and student outcomes.

Who You Are:
  • A visionary leader with a deep passion for science education and a proven track record of teaching excellence who is committed to ensuring the very best outcomes for all groups of students.

  • Experienced in leading teams, managing resources, and driving academic success.

  • A strategic thinker, with the ability to adapt to challenges and innovate in the classroom.

  • Someone who thrives on building relationships with students, staff, and parents to create a supportive learning community.

  • Qualified with a relevant teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent) and ideally some leadership experience in a secondary school setting.
