Equipment Maintenance Technician
As an Equipment Maintenance Technician you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
Main Responsibilities
- Supporting production equipment in a medical device healthcare environment
- Repairing and troubleshooting automated electro/mechanical equipment failures
- Schedule and perform preventative maintenance procedures through PEMAC
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date maintenance documentation.
- Work proactively to ensure production performance targets are met
- Ensure that Good Manufacturing Practices & Good Documentation Practices are followed.
- Support Engineering projects and lead actions assigned to maintenance group
- Focus on Continuous Improvement projects to drive improvements in OEE
- Working knowledge of PLCs, motor drives, pneumatic and hydraulic components.
- Familiar with Conveyors, Robotics, Automation, Sensors, Servo systems
- Demonstrate a high level of technical ability.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong Teamwork abilities – Foster a collaborative culture
- Experience is a regulated industry with automated production is a distinct advantage
- Cert./Diploma/Degree/Senior Trades in /Electronic/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
- 3- 5years experience in a similar technical role within the medical device or similar industry
- Mechanical experience within an automated manufacturing environment
- Strong troubleshooting / problem solving skills and analytical methodologies
- Flexibility to work different Shift Patterns as the business requires
