The Role: Secondary Teacher of English

We are actively recruiting passionate and skilled Secondary Teachers of English for schools across our partner schools in Manchester.

Whether you are an experienced teacher seeking a fresh challenge or an Early Career Teacher (ECT/NQT) looking for your induction year, we have roles where you can make a genuine difference.


Core Responsibilities:
  • Delivering dynamic and challenging Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 lessons
  • Managing classroom behaviour effectively and promoting a positive, inclusive learning environment.
  • Contributing to the academic success and progress of all students, adapting teaching to meet diverse needs.
  • Adhering to the specific policies and guidelines of the school you are placed in.

Are You the Right Fit?
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • A relevant degree
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the UK Secondary Curriculum.
  • A current Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one through Randstad).
  • Excellent communication skills and the flexibility to adapt to new school environments quickly.
  • ECTs are strongly encouraged to apply!
