The Role: Secondary Teacher of English
We are actively recruiting passionate and skilled Secondary Teachers of English for schools across our partner schools in Manchester.
Whether you are an experienced teacher seeking a fresh challenge or an Early Career Teacher (ECT/NQT) looking for your induction year, we have roles where you can make a genuine difference.
Core Responsibilities:
- Delivering dynamic and challenging Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 lessons
- Managing classroom behaviour effectively and promoting a positive, inclusive learning environment.
- Contributing to the academic success and progress of all students, adapting teaching to meet diverse needs.
- Adhering to the specific policies and guidelines of the school you are placed in.
Are You the Right Fit?
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- A relevant degree
- Up-to-date knowledge of the UK Secondary Curriculum.
- A current Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one through Randstad).
- Excellent communication skills and the flexibility to adapt to new school environments quickly.
- ECTs are strongly encouraged to apply!
