What You’ll Be Doing:
Supporting English teachers with lesson delivery, marking, and classroom management
Leading small group reading and writing interventions, especially for GCSE preparation
Offering 1:1 support for pupils with additional learning needs in English
Encouraging student engagement, discussion, and independent thinking
Assisting with creative writing clubs, reading groups or enrichment projects
Helping foster a love of language and literature throughout the school
Ideal English Graduate Teaching Assistant For This Ealing School:
A degree in English Literature, English Language or a related humanities subject
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Passionate about education and supporting young people’s development
Previous experience working with teenagers (e.g. tutoring, mentoring, schools) is a bonus
Committed to full-time, term-time work from September through to July
Keen to gain school-based experience before pursuing teacher training or postgraduate study
