Your Day to Day
Technical Leadership & Full Stack Development
- Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, ensuring high-quality development and technical excellence
- Contribute to full-stack development using Python/Django and TypeScript/React
- Guide the team in building and optimizing REST API endpoints for performance, scalability, and maintainability
- Responsible for designing highly scalable, available and reliable systems
- Review and refine technical designs in Figma before implementation
- Drive the deployment process to AWS, leveraging and improving CI/CD pipelines
- Enforce coding standards, best practices, and robust automated testing strategies
- Maintain and improve technical documentation across the engineering team
Product & Engineering Innovation
- Work closely with Product, Customer Success, and key stakeholders to align engineering efforts with business goals
- Drive the adoption of new technologies and frameworks to improve system efficiency, security, and scalability
- Lead architecture discussions, experiments, and technical evaluations to improve system performance and maintainability
- Collaborate with marketing and account management teams to understand customer pain points and refine product strategy
- Act as a key technical representative, maintaining relationships with strategic and technical partners
Requirements
- 5+ years of software development experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role
- Strong experience with backend development using Python/Django or a similar framework
- Proficiency in frontend development using React/TanStack Query or similar frameworks
- Hands-on experience with AWS or other cloud platforms
- Deep understanding of REST API design, development, and third-party integrations
- Experience with databases (SQL & ORMs) and writing clean, maintainable, and scalable code
- Strong experience with Git and version control workflows
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, balancing hands-on technical work with team management
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience mentoring engineers and fostering a collaborative team culture
