Engineer

One Tech Engineering is searching for an Engineer for a position located in Denver, Colorado. The Engineer will be supporting natural gas, distribution, and infrastructure renewal projects.The candidate must be a US citizen or hold a green card. The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or a related engineering field, and previous AutoCAD experience.Engineer Responsibilities: Prepare and maintain engineering drawings using AutoCAD.Manage miscellaneous administrative paperwork, including project packages and procedural documentation.Serve as a point of contact for project management teams and third-party mechanical contractors, addressing questions and concerns related to engineering tasks and project execution.Understands and applies standard engineering principles.Creates simulations and prototypes to evaluate preliminary designs and test how a machine, structure, or system operates.Designs and tests components and integrates components to produce the final product.Monitors the quality of products and controls the efficiency of processes.Evaluates a design's overall effectiveness, cost, reliability, and safety. Investigates root causes of failures to maintain quality and recommends improvements.Requirements of the Engineer:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or a related engineering field.Previous experience with AutoCAD.Experience in fluid systems, manufacturing processes, or welding is preferred.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).Strong organizational and time-management skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to produce clear and concise technical documentation.
