Carle Health is seeking an additional Advanced Practice Provider to join our busy, Level 1 Trauma Center Emergency Department at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Illinois.
Opportunity Details
- Variable/rotating schedule: 12-hour shifts, 13-14 shifts required per 4-week block. Schedule rotates shifts monthly, including days, evenings, and overnights. 3 holidays per year (one being Christmas or Thanksgiving) / 4 weekends -shifts per 4-week block
- APP friendly group including over 15 APPs, 45 EM Physicians and on-site ED Pharmacists and ED Social Workers. No EM Residency Program
- Evaluate and treat patients with ESI 1-5
- Level 1 Trauma Center with an average of 200-300 patients per day, over 92,000 visits per year
- 24-hour in-house coverage provided by Anesthesiology, Hospitalists, OB/GYN, Intensivists, Pediatric Hospitalists, PICU, and Trauma Surgery

Education Requirements:
- Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant
- 1-2 years of APP experience preferred, New Graduates welcome to apply
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
- Current Illinois Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Nurse licensure/Physician Assistant licensure

Compensation and Benefits
The compensation range for this position is $62.31 - $81.01/hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate?s experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
