We are seeking a highly skilled Embedded Software Engineer to join our team in Butte. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead the development of cutting-edge, high-speed embedded communication networks, essential for the advancement of autonomous vehicle technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement software solutions for embedded systems focusing on networking capabilities.
- Act as a technical expert in embedded networking protocols and technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate software solutions into automotive systems.
- Develop and maintain documentation for design specifications, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Ensure software quality through comprehensive testing and validation.
Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents only.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience with RTOS and/or Linux Embedded systems.
- Proficiency in communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, and Ethernet, including wireless protocols like Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.
- Expertise in troubleshooting networking hardware.
- Experience with standards such as 802.1AS (TSN), 802.1CB (FRER), 802.1QBV (Stream Prioritization), 802.1AE (MACSec), and precision timed protocols (PTP).
