Residents will work and learn alongside an experienced mentor teacher in an Elevate partner school in Oakland, Richmond, or Vallejo, engage in professional learning with a cohort of peers, and contribute to creating an inclusive and engaging classroom culture committed to student success.Responsibilities:Work and learn alongside a mentor teacher at an Elevate partner school, including co-planning and co-teaching lessons that support diverse learning styles.Support individual students, small groups, and whole classes to provide differentiated instruction and create a positive learning environment.Collaborate closely with mentor teachers and school staff to assess student progress and implement effective interventions.Participate in ongoing professional development with a cohort of peers.Engage with families and the community to foster strong relationships that support student success.Lead teach when the mentor teacher is out of the classroom for monthly trainings.
