SUMMARY: Serve as head coach of an elementary athletic sport following Laramie County School District #1 guidelines; responsible for aspects of the program including specific instructional techniques, curriculum, and philosophy of the sport. Coordinate assistant coaches and volunteers, practices, and other administrative duties.

EDUCATION AND RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE:

High School diploma or equivalent.

Previous coaching or participation experience in the sport preferred.
LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS or CERTIFICATIONS:

Criminal Justice Fingerprint/Background Clearance.
TECHNICAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, & ABILITIES:

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS & DIRECTION/GUIDANCE:
Responsible for assisting with interviewing, hiring, and training of assistant coaches; assisting with planning, assigning, and directing work; and assisting with addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Responsible for supervising the behavior and well-being of students in the program.
