About the Electronic Technician II role: Maintains on-time electronic measurement instrument calibration for the Industrial Systems segment Engineering Lab and Wausau manufacturing plant. Provides calibration services for instruments from remote sites. Provides design, building, commissioning, troubleshooting, repair, & maintenance technical assistance for complex test systems. Utilizes external vendors to maintain a set of internal calibration reference standards Practices safe work behaviors, including lock-out-tag-out (LOTO) to remove and install instruments from service Create, revise, and perform calibration procedures and maintain records in accordance to internal quality policy and ISO 17025:2017 standard Performs calibration procedures using internal standards or by coordinating with external calibration vendors to ensure accurate instruments traceable to NIST Partners with lab supervisor to conduct internal auditing of engineering lab and calibration procedures Represent calibration function during agency audits (UL, NVLAP, CSA) Purchase electronics and electrical devices used in construction and repair of equipment. Perform emergency repair, maintenance and/or analysis of any equipment as required Analyze and review new products, equipment, devices and software to be implemented on new and upgraded equipment designs. Performs other assignments or projects as assigned Required Education / Experience / Skills: Requires completion of a 2 year technical degree in Electrical/Electro-Mechanical program plus 5 or more years of experience. Experience working in an ISO 17025 compliant calibration lab Familiarity with Fluke 5522A Multi-Product Calibrator with MET/CAL calibration management software Familiarity with Fluke MET/TEAM Test Equipment Asset Management Software Ability to lift and maneuver 50lbs Ability to work independently Self-starter Knowledge of electronics/writing Ability to keep detailed records Regal Rexnord is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer.
