Electrician

Electrician – Rochdale – 3 months (but could extend) contract – Full-Time – £17.69 – Umbrella

STR Group Services are working with a leading Facilities Management client based in Rochdale and we are recruiting for an Electrician on 3 months contract, on a Full-Time basis. The right candidate will be working 8 hours a day but must be flexible as the 8 hours will be scheduled between 6.30 and 21.30.

In order to be considered for this position, you must have the following experience and skills;

* Driving licence essential to this position.
* Experience in Facilities management or general electrical maintenance.
* Recognised Electrical/Mechanical apprenticeship and or qualification(s)
* Working with Lighting and Small Power or Mechanical Systems
* 17th 18th Edition Wiring regs
* Inspection and Testing
* Basic computer literate and ability to use handheld PDA.
* Sound awareness of risk assessment and working safely with equipment.
* Sound knowledge of Health & Safety
* Experience of working within a Healthcare environment preferred but not essential.
* Ability to follow instruction, work to plans (method statements), communicate, present and report technical information as appropriate to trade/skill.

Will be responsible for the technical performance and maintenance of standard. They will provide guidance to others on site, showing technical expertise in mechanical and electrical systems. Ensure appropriate and compliant solutions and efficient customer service delivery. The Engineer will have advanced technical knowledge in more than one skill or technology area and will form part of the out of hours on call rota. Working hours are 40 hours per week.

Pay for this position is £17.69, Per Hour – Umbrella
