About The Role
As an Education Director you'll:
- Ensure the ongoing delivery of a developmentally appropriate emergent curriculum
- Train new teachers on the Vivvi Learning Model, a child-centered, inquiry-based approach
- Provide mentorship and model best practices for faculty members, including conducting regular performance evaluations and facilitating meaningful professional development opportunities
- Manage a team of teachers to support curriculum implementation across the school
- Support all aspects of relationship-building and enrollment with families, including communication through Brightwheel
- Assist the Head of School with compliance systems and ensure adherence to applicable health, safety, and licensing requirements
- Foster and promote Vivvi’s inclusive environment throughout all aspects of the school
- Serve as Head of School in their absence

- Enjoy working with young learners, and see every child as infinitely capable
- Have 2+ years of experience in a similar role
- Hold at least a Bachelor's Degree; ECE or a related field is preferred
- Hold a NC Administration Credential Level I
- Have deep expertise in emergent- or inquiry-based curricula and a progressive approach to early childhood education
- Are knowledgeable of licensing requirements for early childhood programs
- Value and create strong relationships with families, children, and faculty
- Possess excellent leadership skills including the ability to define goals and motivate staff towards success
